Wharfedale's
thunderous PowerCube series is a complete sub-woofer solution for
virtually any system or budget. The PowerCube 10 model has a 10"
down-firing drive unit with 100w of internal amplification capable
of producing truly extended sub-sonics with total precision and
clarity. As with all PowerCube models, this sub has phase adjustment,
continuously variable crossover frequency, line and high level inputs
and volume controls for unrivalled compatibility with any system
configuration.
The
addition of a sub-woofer will add weight and authority to any stereo
system, extending the frequency response much further than conventional
bass drivers. With the Wharfedale PowerCube, the built-in amplifier
is engineered to provide a powerful response at these frequencies,
while a continuously variable crossover provides seamless integration
with the other speakers in the system. All models offer a phase
adjustment for the additional matching of the sound.
In a multi-channel
system, a sub is recommended to handle the ‘LFE’ or Low
Frequency Effects channel of Dolby Digital or DTS sound. The PowerCube
provides the impact and dynamics to really bring the soundtrack
to life without ever sounding boomy or woolly.
